PayonLocal does not hold, control, or manage merchant or customer funds

PayonLocal does not process refunds on behalf of merchants

All cryptocurrency payments are processed directly on blockchain networks

As a result, PayonLocal has limited or no ability to issue refunds for cryptocurrency transactions.

2. Cryptocurrency Payments (Important)

All cryptocurrency payments are:

Final

Irreversible

Non-refundable by default

Once a cryptocurrency transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it cannot be reversed or cancelled by PayonLocal.

PayonLocal is not responsible for:

Issuing refunds

Recovering funds

Disputing blockchain transactions

3. Merchant-Handled Refunds

If a customer requests a refund:

The merchant is solely responsible for handling the refund

Refunds, if offered, must be processed manually by the merchant

Refunds must be sent directly from the merchant’s own wallet

PayonLocal does not:

Hold customer funds

Act as an escrow

Guarantee that refunds will be issued

4. Incorrect or Mistaken Payments

PayonLocal is not responsible for refunds resulting from:

Incorrect wallet addresses

Wrong blockchain network selection

Incorrect payment amounts

Unsupported tokens or chains

Duplicate or accidental payments

Such errors may result in permanent loss of funds.

5. Subscription & Service Fees

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

Subscription fees (monthly or yearly plans) are non-refundable

Setup fees, service fees, and processing fees are non-refundable

Fees already paid will not be prorated for unused time

Exceptions may be made only at PayonLocal’s sole discretion.

6. Fiat / PayPal Payments (If Applicable)

If PayonLocal accepts fiat payments via third-party processors (e.g. PayPal):

Refunds are subject to the terms and policies of the third-party provider

Customer disputes

Chargeback claims via third-party payment providers

Losses resulting from fraudulent or disputed payments
